My Take on L'affaire Petraeus

In the history of the USA’s Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), there have been three instances of Directors coming to grief because of their perceived wrong-doings.

2.Richard M.Helms (1966-73) was removed by President Richard Nixon from office because of his alleged disloyalty to the President during the Watergate enquiry.

My take on Obama’s Victory

To be fair to President Barack Obama, one cannot deny that he inherited a bad economy from his predecessor Mr. George Bush. It became worse partly due to lack of energetic handling by his economic team  and partly due to the global economic melt-down during his first term.

 The third and the  last US Presidential debate, a fortnight before the polling day, was held on the morning of October 23,2012 (Indian Standard Time).

2. It was supposed to have been devoted almost exclusively to foreign policy, but economic issues kept intruding into the debate quite often and sometimes in a substantive manner.
