Bangladesh and Wuhan Virus: Major Hit to Economy and a Time bomb waiting in Rohingya Camps:

As of today, there have been only 56 confirmed Wuhan Virus cases and 6 deaths.  The figures appear to be too modest for a crowded country like Bangladesh, but there are dangers ahead.

Nepal: Economy Coronified! An update:

One of the few countries that has been badly affected by the Chinese Virus Covid-19 is Nepal.  Though Nepal does not figure anywhere near other countries in terms of incidence of suspected cases, its economy that depends mainly on the tourism and hospitality industry has taken a direct hit by steps taken to contain the  Corona virus  both by Nepal and other countries as well.

It is not disputed that the Corona virus now officially named Covid-19 originated in Wuhan of Hubei Province China.

Official Chinese sources say that it was on December 10, 2019 that the first case was reported.  One Wei Guixien started feeling sick.  He had probably visited the local Chinese wild life market where wild Civet Cats are traded.
